What Is the History of BMW?

BMW has a rich history, and it wasn’t always an automaker. In fact, the company originally built aircraft engines back in 1913 and was known as Rapp-Motorenwerke GmbH. At the time, automobiles were not yet popular. In 1917, the company was renamed Bayerische Motoren Werke GmbH and disappeared for a short while.

Then, in 1923, the company produced its first motorcycle, and several years after that in 1933, the first BMW self-developed car was made. Since then, BMW has built an incredible reputation and offers a driving experience on the Galesburg streets that can’t be found elsewhere.
