The 6th generation 5-series is now on its second model year and continues to lead the midsize luxury class with BMWs famous blend of practicality and sportiness.  Introduced for the 2012 model year, is the new N20 turbo charged four cylinder, that matches the 240 horsepower produced by last years inline-6, but has increased to 260 foot pounds of torque.  This motor paired with BMWs 8-speed transmission actually increases the mileage to 34 miles per gallon for the rear wheel drive model!  The 2012 528i xDrive also comes with a plethora of standard features such as xDrive All-Wheel Drive, automatic transmission, BMW Assist with Bluetooth, ECO Drive, iDrive multi-function display, Xenon headlights, LED taillights, sunroof, power seats, alloy wheels, and much, much more.  This particular 5-Series has been further enhanced with Premium and Cold Weather Packages as well as iDrive based Navigation with hard drive. The Premium Package includes Dakota Leather, power tailgate, park distance control, and universal garage door opener.  Cold weather Package includes a heated steering wheel, split fold-down-rear seats, heated front seats, heated rear seats, and retractable headlight washers. It also has the dark wood trim and satellite radio with 1-year subscription.
